Does anyone know of a good cheap auto for under $1000?
I live in Bardstown kentucky and my car has bit the dust,its not worth what itll cost to fix it.Therefore,Im without transportation,cant afford full coverage insurance on a financed auto,so Im looking for a cheap dependable auto that I can buy straight out,that way I only have to get liability insurance.Ive looked through all local papers,but either found nothing or vehicles had been sold.Can anyone help me find what Im looking for???
You can get a reasonable decent car that runs and is roadworthy for $1,000 – the problem is I’m in England. There could be a problem getting it across the Atlantic. But where there is a will there is a way! You will have much more fun in a right hand drive car with a gear stick instead of that automatic wimpy drive. I think you’ll also find driving on the left hand side of the road in the USA not only fun but extremely exciting.

What do I do when the other partys insurance wants me to pay more than book value for a car I damaged?
I was recently in a car accident. Unfortunately, I had no insurance. Therefore I am responsible for the damages. BUT the other partys insurance is trying to get me to pay more than her car is worth. I looked up the blue book value on the web. They are threatening me with legal action and/or license suspension. I am willing to pay but they are asking way too much. (Twice the blue book value of the car.) What are my options????
