Any good first car tips?

So just passed my test this morning, i’m having a little trouble finding a first car. Insurance seems to be abit of a killer, so I was looking for some tips on nice looking cars with low insurance groups anyone have any suggestions?

Search for a car that is 10-12 years old with low miles. Something like a Honda Civic or Toyota Corolla. Ebay is great for this. Such car will cost you about a grand, so you can pay cash and then you’ll be able to get liability only..
As per insurance, call around, get quotes. You need to do some leg work on this because each company will look at your record and intended vehicle differently.
