do I have to spend my homeowner insurance check on my home?
I recently received a check from my homeowner insurance for roof repair.
Well I use to do roofing and I don't see where it really need to be repaired.
My question is, can I spend this check on something Else like bills?
I realize that if it doesn't go to the roof I can't reclaim it later if there is more damage.

They are not going to come check on you. But I wonder why a claim was filed if no damage was done.

I ran over my son's pet boll weevil this morning. Anyone know a good supplier in Arkansas or Georgia that can
get me a new one quick ? My son is due home from school at 3:00 and he will be pissed. P.S. We live in nova scotia , and shipping is no object. I have allot of damage to my car , can I fool the insurance company into thinking it was because of all the snow yesterday ?
I suggest telling him the Boll Weevil ran away to join the circus and that you tried to chase it down and slid off the road and hit a tree. Then get him something less likely to be behind the car when you back out of the driveway.. Last I heard Georgia and Arkansas are very picky about who gets there Boll Weevils

If my house Got into Fire, can my insurance can they move me another location?
My friends House got into fire last night a total loos, he has Premium insurance with allstate, and he has decided to be relocated.
Its Possible?
His insurance will pay for temporary accommodations while his house is being repaired, however if he decides he wants to move elsewhere his insurance will not pay for a house elsewhere nor will they pay for him to move.
