Birth control cost? And where can I get it?
So I'd like to go on the pill or perhaps Nuvaring..but I do not have health insurance so I am unsure of the cost.
I think Planned Parenthood would help me out, if you know the cost or of one in the Erie, PA area...please let me know.

If you are in college, you probably have student health insurance... am I right? If so, go to your student health center. Most birth controls are free through them, and the rest are at a great discount.
If you aren't covered by student health insurance, then Planned Parenthood or your local health department are great places to go. Both operate on a sliding scale, so you only have to pay what you can afford.

In Canada, health care cost 10.6% of GDP, in the US it cost 15.2% of GDP. Why so much more in the US?
Canada covers all it's citizens in spite of spending a third less of GDP. America pays much more, while many millions of Americans have little or no health insurance.
Why?
And please don't tell me that Canadians are all coming to the US for health care. Only 0.11 percent of Canadians surveyed said that they had ever gone to the US for the purpose of getting any kind of health care. That's one Canadian in a thousand.
Of those who do go, it's generally wealthy Canadians who simply don't feel like waiting on ELECTIVE procedures. While it's perfectly safe to wait for such procedures, they've decided not to.
Anything of an emergent nature is handled quickly in Canada.
And yes, there are isolated exceptions but you can find them as easily in the US. Private health care doesn't insure that some people don't fall through the cracks either.

Tell Maxwell that my full coverage healthcare in Japan costs me $125 a month.
20% more in taxes still couldn't cost me nearly as much as his private insurer robs him of.
I think his monthly premium speaks louder than a bunch of unverified 20% income tax increase BS.

Can the Police legally tow my car away without telling me or giving me a citation?
I purchased a police car 1 month ago from San Diego, they didn't have the pink slip.The letter of sale says as soon as a replacement title is obtained from the DMV it will be certified mailed to me. When I saw the tow truck I ran outside & told them that it was my car & showed them the paper work & insurance. They said it didn't have my name on it (it does) & was not registered. When I asked them if I could park it in my drive way, they said NO the tow truck is already here. I did not rec. a citation. The San Diego PD picked it up & delivered it to me.Now there's s a terrible consistent ca-bang sound, the tow co said to have a mechanic show them that the tow truck caused it. Do I have a civil case against the officer's for towing it?
You have one against the City as well as the officer who towed the vehicle and the tow company. If you purchased it from the agency that towed it you have a case.
If you provided proof of ownership and the reasons for not having it properly tagged as the fault of the San Diego PD - the officer had a duty to inquire further with his agency in regards to the vehicle. His failure to properly perform that duty showed and demonstrated his incompetence. The officer and or his supervisor could have stopped the vehicle from being towed regardless of whether or not the wrecker arrived to take your vehicle
You should have the vehicle inspected. The exact reason or cause of the damage should be recorded on the inspection. If the inspection expert sites damage caused by the wrecker the case is stronger.
