Water Heater Leaked, Now my wood flooring is all messed up. Will my homeowner’s insurance cover damages?

The water leaked into one of my rooms and now all the wood floring is damaged. I have Farmers Home Insurance. The heater has already been replaced with a new one, but the old one left us with all this “water damage”

try calling your insurance provider and ask if he can look up your policy. he may tell you to call the 1 800 claim number and speak to a claims adjustor. i just hope farmers has much better adjustors than our insurance had, dang near had to sue my old provider TWICE. watch your back on estimates and what they offer you for repair money it’s their job to low ball ya on price to save the insurance money.
