car insurance requirements in florida
Do i have to be added to my parent’s insurance policy to drive?
I’m 16 and will get my driver’s license next week
the car is insured but im just not listed
is it illegal to drive the car if i’m not listed on the policy?
their insurance goes up a lot if i am added
what are my other options so their insurance wont go up(besides getting my own?

No other options. If you’re not an insured driver and you have an accident, you can be sued and you will be 100% responsible plus possible punitive damages. In other words, your parents could loose EVERYTHING! Don’t be foolish.
