What Loans To Buy A Car?

So I’m looking to buy a car within the next month. I’m trying to find one under the price of 3,000 if at all possible. My plan was to get an unsecured personal loan and use that to not only purchase the car but also other fees and the down payment for the insurance with that loan. My credit report came out as “Good above 700″ but I only have one credit card with Capital One that I’ve had only since the beginning of this year. But yet it seems like I can’t get approved for any personal loans. I’ve tried looking into used auto loans, but I don’t make enough for them either. I have no one to co-sign for me, and I am a first time buyer. What would be the best approch?
