Should America have for a dual health care system?
Millions of Americans don’t have health insurance, millions of Americans are also unqualified for health insurance, I find that very disappointing, not only that health care is now more expensive then ever. Now I have heard the horror stories of free health care, but shouldn’t we have a dual health care system like Australia, both free and private? Free for the unqualified ones and private for those that can afford it? IMO that would be the best way to go for America.

i am soon shifting to southern California.
how can i know if my if insurance will skyrocket or stay more or less the same so i know if getting it is justified or not.

you can get insurance quotes online from various sites.
and insurance i think will remain more or less the same because the insurance companies are nationwide, they have to take in consideration the claims of throughout usa, to be able to justify insurance premiums.

I’m looking to develop a medical billing software for a client, and I want it to include a feature to check insurance elegibility of patients online like Kareo (www.kareo.com).
I was wondering where I can find information on the web services (REST/SOAP) or APIs the health insurance companies provide to check the insurance of elegibility of patients online and in real time?
Insurance eligibility is rarely realtime – as it takes insurance companies up to six weeks to process changes.
You will probably have to buy something glike Kareo.
